    Overview The Department of Government and International Studies at Berry College provides the foundation for you to develop a sophisticated understanding of the ideas, events, institutions, and behavior that shape domestic and international political life. Learning outcomesA deeper knowledge of concepts such as order, justice, ethics, leadership, representation, organization, competition and cooperation will help shape your own life and your understanding of the world no matter what your ultimate career goal might be. Whether you plan to go into law, education, writing, theology, the military, international business or civil service, our department can be your launching pad to future success. Berry offers degrees in both political science and international studies. As a political science major, you have the option of pursuing either a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree. International studies is offered as a Bachelor of Arts program.     The study of International Studies at Berry College is a crucial element of a liberal arts education. Records should include copies of any diplomas, degrees or other certificates received. All records should be in English. If the language of the records is not English, a certified literal translation should be included with the original document.Applicants must demonstrate sufficient ability on the SAT or ACT tests. Applicants from non-English speaking countries will need to also provide Berry with scores from either the TOEFL
