With a global focus, this course provides a thorough grounding in travel and tourism principles at both an operational and strategic level. The emphasis is on developing the practical skills necessary to fulfil a variety of managerial positions within the industry. You will explore key issues and challenges facing the industry; with particular emphasis on tourism production and consumption, sustainability and ethics, globalisation and intercultural dimensions, recognising the role that travel and tourism plays in addressing these issues.
