About

The programme conveys knowledge, abilities and skills for planning, designing, building, preserving, developing and recultivating open spaces. A key aspect of the planning-oriented education of landscape architects at the TU Dresden is the connection of artistic, creative, scientific, ecological, planning and technical disciplines, which is realized in cooperation with other courses and departments of the TU Dresden. The programme consists of twenty-seven mandatory modules, among them landscape architecture, landscape construction, landscape planning, plant selection, historic garden conservation, urban design and ecology, and three mandatory electives, among them building history and strategies for nature conservation. Projects and practical courses are important components of all stages of this programme.
