    Leisure and Tourism Management (LTM)

    About

Leisure and Tourism Management is an international, four-year degree programme offered by the Department of Business Studies at the University of Applied Sciences Stralsund, Germany. The programme provides students with specialist competence as well as linguistic and social competence in economics and tourism. It is a tightly organised study programme that includes leisure and tourism as well as business and law modules, tax law and accounting, foreign languages and creative units. The modular structure of this degree programme offers the flexibility to study abroad and to undertake the mandatory internship. These are integral parts of the course. Besides imparting basic tenets of business management, specialised skills are developed during the first semesters. The theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom is deepened through excursions, guest lectures by business specialists, and the organisation of special events. The high practical orientation of the programme and the course contents prepare graduates to face international requirements in business, particularly in the leisure and tourism sector. The European Credit Transfer System, which is used at our university, ensures international comparison and guarantees easy recognition of credits earned abroad.
