    About

Training requirements to qualify as a solicitor
This is the full LPC master's course and forms part of the vocational stage of training required if you wish to qualify as a solicitor. The Solicitors Regulation Authority recognises this course as meeting its training requirements and covering the necessary legal topics.

As part of your course, you'll:

    • Study interactive workshops based on realistic case studies that explore the challenge of professional practice
    • Learn from a team of academic staff who are qualified lawyers with significant professional experience
    • Have a choice of option modules that will enable you to tailor your qualification to your areas of interest
    • Complete an extended written dissertation on a subject of your choice, with support from your tutors, during your Independent Legal Research Project

    Learning to suit you
Designed to be as flexible as possible, this course will give you the option to study on campus or via online distance learning. If you choose our online distance learning delivery, you'll be able to access our live LPC workshops anywhere in the world using Microsoft Teams. You'll also have the opportunity to attend some on-campus sessions during key times such as induction, revision and for employability events.

Train to become a solicitor on this master's-level LPC (Legal Practice Course). An LPC fulfils part of the vocational requirements to qualify as a solicitor, as set by the SRA.
