MA Photojournalism and Global Justice aims to kickstart and advance careers in photojournalism in the context of the global news industry and global justice movements.
It is delivered in partnership with the Centre for Human Rights Reporting which brings together leading journalists, academics, activists and students from around the world. The programme will prepare you for photojournalism careers in conventional news organisations as well as NGOs, along with a wide range of freelance career paths. Our courses will also equip students with cross-over skills and expertise suitable for careers in broader fields ranging from communications to human rights law.
Our diverse range of modules share a common orientation towards the Global South, championing decolonized and feminist approaches, and placing both the under-represented and the under-reported at the heart of our curriculum.
