After leaving the army I worked as a technician for a civilian company. Over time I knew I wanted more from my career and to move into management. My masters allowed me to interact with fellow students and lecturers, giving me an insight into the different ways people approach tasks - something which is invaluable in my current role as project manager.
George has extensive practical and academic experience in the field of strategic management, R&D (research and development) and the adoption of new technologies and innovation. He has done extensive research and enterprise work in the area of buyer behaviour, with particular interest in online purchasing and the use of technology to enable the sustainable growth of businesses. He has also supervised and examined many PhDs both in the UK and Europe and is an external examiner for two UK universities.
Successful achievement of our MSc Management will enable you to apply for a general management role within a range of different businesses both in the public and private sector. The starting salaries will vary depending on your previous experience, but this qualification will add value to you by equipping you with the management skills to complement your previous area of study.
