    About

    Our MBA programme will set you up to be a confident, well-rounded business leader. The first year will lay the foundations, covering all important aspects of modern, international business. You will then work on refining your skills in your chosen pathway in year two, by completing a project with an industry partner and gaining valuable work experience for up to eight months.

    Academic Qualifications

    • Students who have completed a 4 year Bachelor degree (60% overall or a GPA of 2.5 or above on the scale of 4, 4 being the highest) can be considered for entry onto a relevant postgraduate programme of study.
    • Applicants with other relevant qualifications or work experience may be considered on a case by case basis.

    International applicants will need to have achieved an overall of IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component/TOEFL 72 overall and a minimum of 18 in reading, 17 in listening, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing or equivalent.

    On the MBA Global, the Personal and Professional Skills Development module provides students with an exciting opportunity to participate in workshops reflecting contemporary professional, hands-on business practice which are delivered by industry experts and/or academic specialists to develop their professional skills and support career development. You will also have free access to LinkedIn Learning to complete courses and a portfolio of knowledge, specific to your career goals.

    As a USW student, you will also have access to advice from our Careers and Employability service throughout your studies and when you graduate. They can help with anything from CV building to interview assessments, advice on finding job opportunities and even completing applications.

    Our staff have connections with a wide range of local businesses and entrepreneurs and, each year, they have the chance to visit major employers from financial organisations such as Barclays Bank and NatWest to award-winning HR and recruitment agencies and leading manufacturers with networks which span the globe.

    Students also benefit from industry links when completing their Capstone Project, giving them an exclusive opportunity to collaborate with a client organisation on a real-world business challenge in their chosen sector.
