    Selection is based on a holistic consideration of your academic merit, work experience, likelihood of success, availability of places, participation requirements, regulatory requirements, and individual circumstances. You will need to meet the minimum academic and English language proficiency requirements or higher to be considered for selection, but this does not guarantee admission.

    A combination of qualifications and experience may be deemed equivalent to minimum academic requirements.

      Academic requirements

      To be considered for admission to this degree you will need to meet the following criteria:

      1 year full-time (or part-time equivalent) - 8 credit points

      To be considered for admission to this degree (with 8 credit points of admission credit applied^*) you will need to meet at least one of the following criteria:

      • bachelor honours (AQF8) degree in a related discipline*
      • bachelor degree in a related discipline*, plus two years relevant work experience^
      • graduate certificate or graduate diploma in a related discipline*
      • evidence of academic capability judged to be equivalent

      1.5 years full-time (or part-time equivalent) - 12 credit points

      To be considered for admission to this degree (with 4 credit points of admission credit applied^*) you will need to meet at least one of the following criteria:

      • bachelor degree or higher in a related discipline*
      • bachelor degree in any discipline, plus two years relevant work experience^
      • evidence of academic capability judged to be equivalent

      2 years full-time (or part-time equivalent) - 16 credit points

      To be considered for admission to this degree (without admission credit applied) you will need to meet at least one of the following criteria:

      • bachelor degree or other qualification at a higher AQF level in any discipline
      • evidence of academic capability judged to be equivalent

      *A related discipline award for this course is a Bachelor degree in Marketing or a Bachelor degree in Commerce or Business with a major of minor in Marketing.

      ^Relevant work experience can be classified into three categories. The first category includes individuals who have spent several years in the marketing field, holding positions such as marketing executives, marketing managers, Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs), marketing analysts, marketing content creators, and marketing supervisors. The second category encompasses individuals who have held senior leadership roles, which may extend beyond the marketing discipline, including positions such as Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), directors, Chief Financial Officers (CFOs), and general managers. The third category consists of individuals who have successfully operated their own businesses for a number of years.

      To meet the English language proficiency requirements of this course, you will need to demonstrate at least one of the following:

        Most documents need to be certified. For example, award certificates, academic transcripts and your identity papers (passport). Take the original document and a photocopy to an authorised person (for example, justice of the peace, public notary, member of the police force or Australian lawyer), to sign.
