  • Requirements

    Entry Requirements

    Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
    1. A completed bachelor degree in any discipline with a credit or higher average, and
    2. A minimum of one unit (subject) of degree level (or higher) study in five of the following six disciplines - chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.

    Limited Commonwealth-supported places (CSPs) are available for this course and will be awarded on academic merit. To be considered for a CSP, please submit your application for admission by 31 October 2025. Eligible applicants will be notified from 15 November 2025. The University will continue to issue fee-paying (FEE) offers until this date, offers for any eligible CSP applicants will be updated accordingly.

    English Program Requirements

    There are non-standard English language requirements for this course. To be eligible you must have an overall IELTS Academic score (or equivalent) of 7.0, with no band score below 7.0.     As the aging population continues to grow globally, the demand for qualified and skilled pharmacists who can also engage with patients across all demographics is expected to increase. UC Master of Pharmacy graduate will enter this market with the benefit of having been trained in a smaller, more personal, learning environment resulting in each student receiving a higher level of mentored education.

    What this means is that UC Master of Pharmacy graduates are industry respected and will be more than adequately prepared for a variety of career options in either private or government pharmaceutical organisations.
