Master of Research

If you're looking to deepen your research expertise, enhance your career prospects, or prepare for doctoral study, then UC’s new Master of Research is for you. Delivered over 18 months full-time (or 36 months part-time), the program combines independent research with up to nine credit points of targeted coursework.

Through an integrated structure, you’ll gain a strong foundation in research design, theory, and methodology, ensuring you are well-prepared to undertake a substantial research project and transition into academic, industry, or policy environments.

If you’re an international student applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree, you can apply directly to UC using our online application portal or through an agent from our international agent network.

Choosing UC for a student exchange or study abroad program

If you’re an international student currently enrolled at an overseas university and you’d like to study at UC on a student exchange or study abroad program, you also need to apply through UC’s online application portal.

International students currently studying Year 12 in Australia

You should apply through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) if you're an international student in your final year of secondary school and studying any of the following programs in Australia:

• an Australian Year 12
• the International Baccalaureate
• the New Zealand National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) Level 3.
