    About

With south-east Queensland set to host the Summer Olympic Games in 2032, there has never been a better time to consider a career in sport management.

The sport industry is already a major contributor to Australia’s economic growth and that will be supercharged over the next decade as new opportunities arise in sport development, facilities management, event management, sponsorships, sports communication, law, marketing and so much more.

Bond’s Master of Sport Management will put you in the box seat to take advantage of the opportunities that will emerge, both here in Australia and overseas.

Exploring the many facets of sport management from a grassroots level through to elite professional sport organisations and events, the program focusses on enhancing your skills in high-performance sport management, advanced business strategies, people management, international sport business, global sport law, organisational leadership and more.

All sport management students are encouraged to undertake extra-curricular voluntary work in the sport sector and students may be eligible to undertake a sport management internship with a sport organisation of their choice.

Our academics have experienced the business of sport from the inside, and you’ll meet experts in sport, law, business, and public relations who share their industry experience, knowledge, and contacts.
