    Good supply chain management is becoming increasingly vital to employer profitability and customer satisfaction.

    The program focuses on global best practice and links supply chain with general management. It applies theory to practice-based projects and makes extensive use of “real life” case studies.

    Designed for busy professionals working in procurement and supply chain, or related functions across a variety of sectors, the program covers the latest analytical and strategic approaches to give you a solid grounding in real world practices in supply chain management.

    The Master of Supply Chain Management is a Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) accredited degree.

    Admission criteria

    To be considered for entry into this course, you must have completed:

    • An undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, AND
    • A minimum of two years of documented professional experience, preferably some of which is in a supply chain, logistics, or procurement role and
    • A personal statement outlining why you wish to be considered for the course.

    You must also submit:

    • A curriculum vitae (CV) as evidence of professional experience.

    You will leave the degree with a number of essential skills, including:

    • Knowledge of all aspects of the supply of goods and services, including procurement, transformation operations, transport/distribution, and the management of information in these areas.
    • Ability to apply technical and communication skills to design, evaluate, implement, analyse, theorise about developments that contribute to high levels of supply chain performance outcomes.
    • Ability to effectively apply knowledge of research principles and methods of supply chain analysis and business decision analysis.
    • Cognitive, technical and creative skills to investigate, analyse and synthesise complex information, problems, concepts and theories and to apply theories of SCM to different contextual problems in supply chains and their business applications.

    To meet the entry requirements to apply for Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) students must:

    • Complete the capstone final written assignments associated with this programme on a procurement and/or supply chain specific topic (general management topics will not be accepted) and must submitted to CIPS for review as part of the MCIPS application process.
    • All Foundation, Core and Capstone modules must be passed with no compensations or exemptions.
    • 2 Elective modules must be passed with no compensations or exemptions.
