    Mathematics with Finance MMath

    About

If you want to explore the strong relationship between mathematics and financial analysis, this course is for you.

You'll learn from experts in both disciplines. You'll gain a thorough grounding in the theories and techniques that underlie modern mathematics and finance. The use of industry-standard software (such as MATLAB, Python and R) develops your analytical and modelling skills. You'll graduate with the specialist knowledge crucial for success in today's financial industry.

You'll be guided throughout your degree by an academic adviser. We'll support your career development with opportunities to engage with potential employers, while you gain the confidence and competence they're looking for.

During your integrated Masters year, you'll develop new skills in both subjects and apply them to an advanced research project. This is particularly relevant if you're interested in going on to a research career at universities or in industry.
