MBS: Mannheim Master of Accounting & Taxation - Accounting Track (Part-Time)

    About

The Mannheim Master of Accounting & Taxation aims to provide young professionals in the fields of accounting and taxation with the theoretical basis as well as the practical skills necessary to successfully meet the demands of their business. One of the program's key characteristics is the close and multi-leveled collaboration not only with the so-called "Big Four", but with other companies and institutions as well.

Both tracks, Accounting and Taxation, are offered in a modular format, with an overall program duration of three years. The Taxation track starts with a six-week on-boarding module that will equip participants with the basic skills and knowledge they need to successfully kick-start their careers in the field of taxation. Later modules are designed to further deepen as well as broaden participants' knowledge base, so as to provide them with an in-depth specialized knowledge of both national and international taxation. The Accounting Track is accredited according to § 8a WPO. Thus, successful participants can take the WP exam immediately after graduation in shortened form.

The Mannheim Master of Accounting & Taxation is taught primarily in German language and prepares for the German Tax Advisor or German Certified Public Accountant Exam. Thus a German language proficiency level of at least C1 is advised.
