    Overview The Mechanical Engineering or Engineering program of The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is for students who have completed a B.S.M.E. degree while the M.S.E. degree is for students who may not possess a baccalaureate degree in engineering.Program ObjectivesThe objectives of the M.S.M.E and M.S.E. program are: I want to find another Master Course To provide our students with the opportunity to develop a breadth of knowledge in mechanical engineering so that they can adapt to the changing requirements of the technological workplace.To produce graduates who are able to practice as mechanical engineers with advanced skills and serve state, regional, and national industries.To prepare graduates for personal and professional success, both as individuals and in team environmentsDegree RequirementsA total of 30 credit hours of approved graduate coursework are required.  Students select one of the two following options after completing no more than 18 credit hours.
    The Mechanical Engineering or Engineering program of The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is leading to the Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (M.S.M.E.) and the Master of Science in Engineering (M.S.E.).

    • 1 : An earned undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) for the MSME program or a closely related field (e.g., biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, etc.) for the MSE program.A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0A satisfactory Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test scoreThree letters of recommendationAn acceptable TOEFL score as required by UNC Charlotte for international studentsRemediation of certain deficiencies as specified by the department for each area of concentration.
