    About

Our "Düsseldorf Curriculum of Medicine" was developed on the basis of current research findings and is continuously optimised in order to prepare our students in the best possible way for their future work as doctors.

When training future doctors, we rely on interdisciplinary knowledge transfer, a pronounced patient orientation and practical training from the very first semester onwards, as well as on a broad selection curriculum.

    Entry Requirements

application University places in medicine are allocated exclusively by the University Admissions Foundation: www.hochschulstart.de The allocation of university places is carried out uniformly throughout Germany via the Abibesten-Quote (30%), the additional qualifications-quote (10%) and the selection procedure of the universities (AdH, 60%). At Heinrich-Heine-Universität Dasseldorf, we consider a mix of the average Abitur grade (max. 68 points) and the results in the Test for Medical Studies (TMS, max. 29 points) in the AdH. Additionally,a voluntary service can increase the chances of being accepted (3 points). Furthermore, about 20 places of study are reserved for applicants who have completed vocational training in a medical field. TMS
