Non EU Postgraduate Entry Requirements

All Non-EU postgraduate applications are assessed on a case by case basis dependent on the application submitted and any supporting evidence provided. All postgraduate applications will need to be submitted via our application portal. You can find more information on this via our 'How to Apply' page which can be accessed via this link https://www.dcu.ie/registry/how-apply-dcu.

English Program Requirements
In the case of all applications, evidence MUST be provided of competence in the English language. The list below indicates the minimum standards in the English language, which should be met for entry to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in DCU.

Our graduates are working in a range of marketing and management roles including Digital Account Executive, Digital Project Manager, Content Marketer, Research Analyst, Digital Marketing Executive, and Social Media Manager. Your knowledge of the business management environment and the ability to be able to think strategically and analytically coupled with your powerful digital marketing background and exposure to new methods and technologies makes you highly demanded by employers.

Graduates from the MSc in Digital Marketing Programmes are employed in a variety of senior marketing roles in all sectors including Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Yahoo!, Edelman, Accenture, Dell, An Bord Bia, Core Media, Starcom, Oracle, Trivago, Adroll and many more.

Postgraduate
Apply through the Postgraduate Applications Portal. A fee of €50 applies. Make sure you read all the instructions carefully before you start your application.
The steps you need to follow
- Create Account
- Complete application form
- Submit application and pay application fee
- Upload Supplemental items (documents)
Once you have completed your application you will receive updates from the International on the progress of your application.
The deadline for postgraduate applications is July 1st in any given year.

International Foundation Programme
You may need to take a foundation course if you do not satisfy DCU’s minimum entrance requirements. Find out more about how to apply the International Foundation Programme by following this link https://advance.dcu.ie/.
Pre-sessional English programmes
If you have a conditional offer of a place at DCU, but don’t satisfy DCU’s English language requirements, you may be able to take a five-week or 10-week presessional English programme on the DCU campus. Once you successfully complete this programme, you can progress to your full-time DCU programme.
