    Overview Students in the Neuroscience program at the Morehead State University will take courses in introduction to brain and behavior, brain development and sex differences, the aging brain, drugs and behavior, and experimental design/analysis. Students will also take electives in biology, chemistry, math, physics, engineering, psychology, health, and social science to gain a multi-faceted understanding of neuroscience.Career OpportunitiesStudents who earn a degree in neuroscience are prepared for a wide range of careers. Our graduates with a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience have careers working with those with brain injury, neurological disorders (Alzheimer’s disease, autism spectrum disorder, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis), and drug addiction. Some of our graduates further their education in graduate programs, including neuroscience, medical school, physical therapy, occupational therapy, public health, and more.     Neuroscience is the study of the nervous system and behavior. Morehead State University's Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience degree program is an interdisciplinary program that fosters the unique interests of students by enabling them to concentrate studies in one of three areas: Behavioral/Social Science; Biology/Chemistry; and Math/Physics.
