Overview You spend your final four semesters on our Portland Campus, focused on Nursing coursework at University of New England Maine and clinical experiences made possible by your proximity to Maine’s leading hospitals and clinics. The programmeYou gain clinical judgment, understanding of health and human functioning, expertise in care and therapeutics, and a knowledge of different health care resources. You engage in simulated clinical experiences in our nursing skill laboratories, and work and learn in hospital and community health settings to fulfill your preceptorship requirement. Our traditional B.S. in Nursing at University of New England Maine is an academically rigorous four-year professional program. You spend your initial four semesters on our Biddeford Campus, building a foundation in the sciences, humanities and related health disciplines, and participating fully in the clubs, sports, seminars and other activities that contribute to the college experience.
