Overview The curriculum seeks to integrate spirituality and psychology to offer a holistic approach to healing and restoration. Students learn to develop and sharpen their listening skills, assess needs, effectively intervene to assist in spiritual, emotional, and psychological growth and healing. Specifically, the program focuses on mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, addiction, suicide, grief and loss, personality disorders, trauma, and family violence.All MAPCC courses provide a rich and diverse environment where students can learn multiple perspectives to serve a wide range of people from various cultures and religious traditions. An optimal balance between theory and practice is maintained throughout the program. I want to find another Master Course Students in the Pastoral Care and Counseling degree program at New York Theological Seminary are required to do 1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) as a practicum and write Capstone.
