    TawjihiyahStudents who have followed the national curriculum (Tawjihiyah) are advised to complete a Foundation Certificate at University of Liverpool International College or an equivalent foundation programme.
    A levels, International Baccalaureate Diploma, SATsStudents offering A levels, the International Baccalaureate Diploma or SATs can apply for direct entry to year one of undergraduate programmes.

    Don't meet our entry requirements for undergraduate?

    If you have good high school grades but don't meet our entry requirements, don't worry. You could apply for a place on a Foundation Certificate. These courses are delivered on campus at the University of Liverpool International College.

    Successful completion of a Foundation Certificate, at the required level and with good attendance, will guarantee your place on your chosen University of Liverpool undergraduate degree.

    We require a Bachelor's degree from a recognised insitution with a minumum grade of 2.5 out of 4, 3 out of 5, or 70%.

    Don’t meet our master’s entry requirements?

    If you hold a bachelors' degree or equivalent but don't meet our entry requirements, don't worry. You could apply for a place on a Pre-Master's course.

    These courses are delivered on campus at the University of Liverpool International College. Successful completion of a Pre-Master's, at the required level and with good attendance, will guarantee your place on your chosen University of Liverpool master's degree.

    Postgraduate research

    AcademicEach application is assessed on its own merits, although students will be expected to hold both a bachelor's and a master's degree. Previous exposure to research or thesis writing is highly desirable.

    We accept a variety of international English language tests and country-specific qualifications you can use to demonstrate your English language ability. We also offer Pre-Sessional English courses if you need to improve your English language skills.

    Careers and employability

    Employability is embedded into the Pharmacology BSc (Hons) programme and can be the necessary stepping stone into a successful career in many life science sectors in clinical trials, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, intellectual property and scientific writing.
