    About

    There are mandatory courses in which the progress of each individual project is evaluated and discussed by PhD students. These courses support the transfer of knowledge on the theoretical and methodological levels and foster interdisciplinary communication. Furthermore, elective courses are designed to deepen knowledge in some of the programme's main topic areas, from basic techniques to cutting-edge developments. Additionally, optional courses include research-oriented special events or workshops as well as special courses for the improvement of foreign language skills and practical competencies. Foreign students may take German courses alongside the scientific programme.

    Master's degree or equivalent degree in medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry, biology, chemistry, or similar natural science disciplines Excellent scores in a relevant degree examination from a German or foreign university Letter of recommendation from supervisor
