    Overview The Physician Assistant Program from University of Colorado Denver has gained national recognition for its curriculum in primary care medicine. The Program confers a Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS). In accordance with the mission of the program, the curriculum provides comprehensive physician assistant education in primary care medicine with expanded training in pediatrics and care to disadvantaged, at risk and medically underserved populations.  There are specialized tracks with exciting opportunities for interdisciplinary education and clinical experiences, integrating students with others in the School of Medicine and across the campus with similar interests.Mission Statement The mission of the Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant Program is to provide comprehensive physician assistant education in primary care across the lifespan, with expanded training in pediatrics and care of the medically underserved.     1Verified CASPA application including three letters of recommendation.  The CASPA application for the 2020-21 cycle will be available in April 2020.CHA/PA Program supplemental application and a nonrefundable supplemental application fee.  We are no longer accepting supplemental applications for the 2019-20 cycle.  Transcripts for all completed coursework are submitted to CASPA for verification. Generally, we only need official transcripts if you are offered acceptance to the program. One exception is if you completed a course after you submitted your CASPA application that is required before applying (a biology or chemistry course).
