    Do you regularly follow media coverage of national and international politics? Are you thinking about the consequences of the last election? Do you want to understand what a democracy can and should achieve? Then you should come to Leuphana and study political science. Important national and global political challenges such as economic globalisation, cross-border migration or ongoing climate change are some of the topics discussed in this Bachelor's programme. You will learn about normative foundations of political thinking as well as empirical structures, processes and contents of public action. At the same time, you will acquire sound knowledge of theoretical and methodological approaches to political science. You will gain insights from different professional areas such as political consulting or journalism and gain your first independent research experience. With a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, you will have excellent prerequisites for further academic qualification in Germany and abroad as well as for a direct start of a career outside academia.
