The University of Houston no longer admits students into the Pre-Pharmacy major effective for students entering Fall 2015. Students who wish to become a pharmacist may choose any major while completing PharmD pre-requisite courses for admission to the PharmD program at UH. Prospective PharmD (applicants) students are encouraged to attend regular advising sessions with PharmD Advisors at the College of Pharmacy: Natasha Hindocha, Nekesa Sapp, and Ivy Bejarano or at http://www.uh.edu/pharmacy/prospective-students/pharmd/advising.

You'll apply as an international freshman student if you plan to attend the University of Houston:
- with citizenship from a country outside the U.S.
- have no college coursework (or have less than 15 credit hours from an accredited university).
- have an equivalent GPA 3.0 or higher (4.0 scale).
- meet English Language Requirements.

Be sure to complete the short admissions essay and tell us about your achievements and extracurricular activities. Pay the $90 Application Fee for international students ($75 for U.S. applicants) when you submit your online application.
