Our foundation year is very flexible. You can study screenwriting all year or try other creative subjects. This includes media and television production. This can be a great chance to explore other interests before you decide on a degree.

You'll work on a series of projects during your foundation year. You can take a screenwriting approach, researching and drafting scripts for different productions. You could also explore another subject. Our course team will support you throughout.

You'll be part of a creative community. All of our art and media foundation year students study together. This creates a dynamic and innovative environment. You can take inspiration from artists, filmmakers, journalists and more.
