    Overview In each Sociology course from Flagler College you will learn how to apply sociology to your every day life. You’ll learn the foundational theories and how to conduct research both in the classroom and in the field – the social world around us. In addition, you will use a critical approach to study inequalities based on demographics such as race, sexual orientation, gender, and other marginalized populations.Through core classes, you’ll build a strong foundation in how to “do sociology” through research methods, theory, and sociological perspectives. From there, you can customize your electives to focus on areas that interest you.With a Sociology major, you have the flexibility to earn a second major or two to three minors - it's up to you to decide!
