    About

In addition to orientation, studium MINT also prepares students for a multifaceted and interdisciplinary vocational education and training. Before embarking on a bachelor's degree program, this enables you to make a purposeful decision as to the program that best suits your interests and abilities, based on discipline-specific knowledge and your own experience. Seven departments are involved in studium MINT (civil, geo and environmental engineering; chemistry; electrical and computer engineering; informatics; mechanical engineering; mathematics; and physics), as well as the Munich School of Engineering (MSE). The aim is to offer participants the basis for making a sound choice of degree and future career. Given that you familiarize yourself with various disciplines in advance of commencing your regular studies, you can discover early on where your personal interests and strengths lie. In addition, you acquire important self-study and personal skills very early on, which makes commencing your studies much easier.

Please note that you can only be admitted if you have not already studied 2 or more semesters in any degree program.

studium MINT is an orientation semester at the Technical University of Munich. It offers an overview of the degree programs with a focus on mathematics, technology, and the natural sciences.
