The language course takes place from Monday to Friday in the mornings. Each morning there are four teaching units (45 minutes each). By means of authentic and up-to-date materials and a variety of interesting topics and texts, you can brush up and intensify your knowledge of the English language during this course. Task-based grammar and oral skills training under the guidance of our highly qualified teachers, who are all native speakers, will guarantee a language training of the highest standard. Special study techniques such as reading strategies and presentation skills will also be practised. The lessons follow the aims of communicative competence of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) in an entertaining and inspiring way and will assist your independent learning process. In the afternoon, you can attend seminars which deal with different current issues in the areas of cultural and social sciences, e.g. history, literature and interculturality. You can further practise your skills in the self-study area of our language laboratory. A graded certificate will be issued to all participants at the end of the course. It will include your individual language level according to the CEFR as well as your ECTS credits.
