Tertiary Preparation Pathway

Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP) is a bridging program that allows you to experience university life before jumping into a full degree. If you haven’t studied in a while, TPP helps you brush up on essential study skills like critical reading, assignment writing and referencing. It can also build your knowledge and confidence in the subject areas you’ll need for your degree, like science, business or maths.

Study up to four TPP courses (or subjects) from a range of options. Courses are offered in Semester 1 (February), Semester 2 (July), Session 8 (intensive summer session, in November).

In this program you will:

• Study TPP courses for FREE as a domestic student (Australian citizens, permanent residents and Australian Permanent Humanitarian visa holders, and New Zealand citizens). TPP courses are Austudy approved
• Study skills and knowledge to succeed at university, and provides a pathway to a UniSC degree.
• Brush up on essential study skills like critical reading, assignment writing and referencing
• Commence at the start of the year, midway through the year, or conduct an intensive course over summer
• Gain direct entry into most UniSC degrees on successful TPP completion

Pursue more than 150 courses of study at UniSC alone, covering an immense range of professions.

To apply to the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) in Australia, you can follow these steps:

3. Create an Account: Visit the USC website and create an account on their application portal if you're a new applicant. If you already have an account, log in with your credentials.

4. Complete the Application Form: Fill out the online application form with accurate personal information and details about your academic background. Provide all required documentation, such as transcripts, identification, and English proficiency test scores if applicable.

5. Pay Application Fee: Pay the required application fee. USC typically charges a fee for processing applications. Make sure to have a valid payment method ready.

6. Submit Your Application: Review your application to ensure all information is correct and complete. Once you're satisfied, submit your application through the online portal.

7. Track Your Application: After submission, you may be able to track the status of your application through the USC application portal. This will allow you to see if any additional documents are required or if a decision has been made.

8. Wait for Admission Decision: USC's admissions team will review your application. It may take some time to receive a decision, so be patient. You may receive an offer of admission, a request for further information, or a notification of rejection.

9. Accept Your Offer: If you receive an offer of admission, carefully review the terms and conditions. Follow the instructions provided to accept the offer within the specified deadline.

10. Visa Application (International Students): If you're an international student, you'll need to apply for a student visa to study in Australia. USC will provide guidance on the visa application process.

11. Enroll in Your Program: Once you've accepted your offer and met all conditions, USC will provide instructions on how to enroll in your chosen program. Follow these instructions to complete the enrollment process and prepare for your studies at USC.
