    Overview The Theatre Performance concentration at Bridgewater State University augments the broad based approach of the theatre arts concentration with the additional comprehensive course work in acting, voice and dance, preparing the student more thoroughly for entry-level performance occupations and graduate schools or conservatories.Learning outcomesThis concentration is designed to develop knowledge and skills related to the art of theatre and to provide a comprehensive program in theatre performance. It will prepare students for entry-level work or graduate studies in theatre performance.Admission to the Theatre Performance concentration is by audition only: at the end of the student’s first year in the theatre arts concentration and after completing a minimum of nine credits in theatre, the student will be qualified to audition for the performance concentration. Transfer students who have completed one year of course work and a minimum of nine credits in theatre arts at other institutions may also audition for the concentration.
