The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Foundation Program is a Pathway Program for those Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who have completed Year 12 and are seeking entry into university. As a Pathway Program, it also provides entry to university for those students who have been away from study for many years to study for a university degree. The program develops the communication and study skills needed for success at University. The program equally helps students develop an understanding at a cultural level of what is required to navigate the cultural landscape of the university and its expectations and language, thus developing the self-efficacy required to be successful. Places in the program are Commonwealth Supported so there are no course fees for students. However, there is a Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF).
