    Overview

    • We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to go to university, so UniSQ’s Diploma of Multidisciplinary Studies is open to everyone.
    • This Diploma provides a quality foundation for tertiary study to set you up for success. Learn study management strategies and gain reflective and analytical skills as well as communication and writing skills.
    • The core courses are offered online which enables you to balance work, life and family commitments. You can progress at your own pace by selecting how many courses to study in each of the three study periods throughout the year.
    • Choose one of eight specialisations, allowing you to sample a study area you are interested in. Once successfully completed, you can graduate with a university qualification or, provided you meet all the entry requirements, you can transfer directly into an undergraduate degree to reach your career goals.

    Pre-requisites

    To study this degree we assume you have sound knowledge in:

    • English (Units 3 & 4, C) 

    We assume that your knowledge is equivalent to a grade C or higher in Units 3 and 4 at high school level (typically studied in Year 12). Find out more about assumed knowledge.

    English language requirements

    You are required to satisfy the applicable English language requirements and this degree requires a minimum of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent. If you do not meet the English language requirements you may apply to study a University-approved English language program.

    Recognition of prior learning or work experience

    If you have previously studied in your home country, you may be eligible for recognition of prior learning to reduce the number of courses that you need to study to finish your program.

    English Program Requirements

    Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) allows students to gain credit (advanced standing) towards their course in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training. Applicants are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
