    Entry Requirements

    Admission requirements

The following are minimum requirements to be considered for entry into the Collaborative (PhD) program. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the program.

Admission requirements are those of the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

    • Have a master’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university
    • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 credit hours of full-time study.

Exceptional students with an honours bachelor’s degree may be considered for entry into the PhD program. For details, please see the PhD General Regulations section in the Academic Calendar.

In addition to the admission requirements described here, all applicants must meet the minimum admission and English language proficiency requirements of the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

If University of Manitoba is the lead university

The student must have been admitted to a PhD program at the University of Manitoba.
