Overview
The U-First!® Framework is a person-centred approach to looking at the whole person and is built upon the P.I.E.C.E.S.™ education program for health care providers with a clinical and leadership role within the team. U-First!® helps to develop a common knowledge base, language and approach to caring for people with behavioural changes by increasing learners’ ability to:
• Understand the person living with dementia, or other cognitive impairment, and the associated behaviour changes
• Work as a team to develop individualized support strategies
