    To be admitted, candidates must have:

    • an honours bachelor’s degree in Education or the equivalent (an honours bachelor’s degree in science, in health science or in a related field)
    • an overall average of 70% (B), calculated in accordance with graduate studies guidelines.
    • proficiency in either English or French.

    On completion of the graduate diploma, qualified students meeting admission requirements could apply to one of the related master's programs, in particular the M.A. in Education or the M.Ed. and, upon admission, complete the requirements for those programs with unit granted for relevant courses already completed in the diploma. The number of units remaining would be assessed individually, at the time of admission, with relation to the student's chosen master's program.
