Master of Computer Science and Concentration Applied Artificial Intelligence

Students must meet the following requirements.

The total course units of compulsory courses and optional courses must include:

• 3 course units in Theory of Computing (Category T)
• 3 course units in Software Engineering (Category E)
• 3 course units in Computer Applications (Category A) or in Computer Systems (Category S)

Note(s)

Course selection is done in consultation with their supervisor.

Compulsory course CSI 5155 counts as a Theory of Computing (Category T) or as a Software Engineering (Category E) course.

Compulsory course CSI 5195 counts as a Software Engineering (Category E) course.

A student may be permitted to carry out thesis work off campus provided suitable arrangements are made for supervision and experimental work, and prior approval is obtained from the Program Coordinator.

The thesis must fall within the area of Applied Artificial Intelligence.

Applicants must be able to understand and fluently speak the language of instruction (French or English) in the program to which they are applying. Proof of linguistic proficiency may be required.
