    About

Certificates allow you to complete a specific group of university courses (for credit) as either part of your degree studies or separately. Additional details on certificates are available here.

Emergency Management is an exciting and rapidly expanding profession, domestically and internationally. Recent events, including the COVID-19 (SARS-Cov-2) pandemic, the 2016 Fort McMurray wildfire and the 2021 atmospheric river flooding in British Columbia, illustrated the ongoing potential for serious disruption in everyday life.

These incidents also heightened awareness of the importance of efficient Emergency Management, which includes working to prevent or mitigate the impact of potential challenges as well as responding to current emergencies.
