Graduate social workers have a wide spectrum of areas in which they can be employed, either in the public sector or in the private/ voluntary organisations. In particular, graduate social workers can work in a variety of jobs such as schools (primary, nursery, secondary), university counselling centres, hospitals (general or psychiatric hospitals), community centres, local authorities, large industrial companies, non-profit organisations, drug addictions centres etc. Due to their degree, they also have the opportunity to continue their postgraduate studies in a variety of fields (social work, psychology, counselling, education, mental health).
