    About

    All Business Engineering degree programmes at the Technical University of Darmstadt are defined by their distinct interdisciplinary nature. They contain parts of both the Business Studies (business administration and economics) and Law on the one hand and Engineering on the other to nearly the same extent.

    Entry Requirements

    Applying with international qualifications (language requirements, application deadlines): International Admission. Requirements for admission to the Masters degree programme (and thereby university enrolment) comprise a “Bachelor of Science” degree from the same programme or an equivalent degree. Admission to the Masters Degree programme may also depend on additional requirements. Specific degree entrance requirements may be found here and in the competences description. A Business Engineering internship; see next point “internship” .

    English Program Requirements

    You must pass the “Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang” (DSH-2) as evidence that your spoken and written command of the German language is adequate for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes for which the language of instruction is German.

    Participating in the DSH at the Studienkolleg is subject to charge.

    Career

    Business engineers can choose from a multitude of career opportunities. Their skills and knowledge are particularly in demand where technical and commercial fields of activity meet. Graduates of the Business Engineering Technical Field of Study Electrical Engineering and Information Technology programme may find employment in the electrical industry, with energy suppliers, in communications technology businesses, and in business consultancy. Graduates (usually with a Masters degree) work in the areas of production control, quality assurance and process monitoring, controlling, marketing, or in management positions.
