About Master of Environmental and Georesources Management

In addition to central geoscience and environmental technology disciplines, this Master's programme in cooperation with the Ernst-Abbe-University of Applied Science (EAH) is dedicated to various interdisciplinary questions from fields of economics and politics and thus addresses central issues of our time. Questions of environmental and resource protection are often complex and require interdisciplinary approaches of analysis and problem solving. Strong practical relevance and application orientation of the EAH is interlinked with high research competence of the FSU, whereby a strengthening of application-oriented basic research and expansion of economic cooperation can be achieved. This study programme in cooperation with the EAH is intended to qualify graduates for a scientific and engineering approach to issues of environmental protection and conservation of resources.
