The Bachelor in Quantitative Biology is a new degree programme offered jointly by Heinriche Heine University DÃ¼sseldorf and the University of Cologne. This programme integrates the study of biology with methods of mathematical modeling, data science, and bioinformatics; the resulting curriculum is strictly oriented toward the needs of modern life science research. A good supervision ratio of lecturers to students is offered by the forty lecturers together from HHU and UoC who are participating in this programme.

Entry Requirements

The admission requirement for the Bachelor's degree programme Quantitative Biology is the general university entrance qualification (high school diploma). The degree programme has local admission restrictions (local numerus clausus) and is taught in English. Application for addmission takes place online via the DoSV procedure. In case you have not completed your Bachelor programme yet, an interim certificate with at least 80% of examination and study achievements has be submitted instead.
