"If you get tired of Berlin, you'll get tired of life." You can always hear that in the German capital. But what makes Berlin so unique, fascinating, and attracts bohemians, students, and many others from all over the world? In "Zoom on Berlin", we try to look at selected aspects of this phenomenon very closely. In many excursions we experience Berlin exactly where life happens. Explore places that wrote and are still writing history. Visit popular concerts and world-famous theatres. Take part in interesting studio and museum tours and experience Berlin by individual excursions. In our introductory seminars, you will get the necessary background knowledge so that you can discover your Berlin. This is how you can experience Berlin first hand and stick to the cityâ€™s motto "be Berlin". You will take a mandatory placement test on the first day. In the mornings: four credit hours of German classes per day (one credit hour = 45 minutes): a total of 80 credit hours In the afternoons: academic lessons two or three times per week: a total of 20 credit hours seminars, workshops, and trips related to the history, urban development, and culture of Berlin Components of the language lessons are: grammar conversation writing listening and reading comprehension pronunciation literature
