The bachelors program in Culture and Technology provides you with a comprehensive understanding of the complex interrelation between these two areas. In the core subject Philosophy, you learn about the diverse methods and subject areas of philosophy. During your studies you examine broad fields, where you, for example, investigate historical and systematic philosophical questions employing the hermeneutic interpretation of texts and logical reconstruction of arguments. You also develop well-founded arguments for positions on philosophical problems while considering gender aspects.
In the general component of the curriculum, you learn the technical, methodological, and social skills needed to understand the mental, social, and material dimensions of the modern world and their correlation. You learn to bridge the gap between the humanities and cultural studies and natural and technical sciences and to understand the position science holds in society from a transdisciplinary perspective.
