About Bachelor of Global Food, Nutrition and Health

From a global perspective, we are far from being able to supply all people with food in such a way that they can lead an active and healthy life. Nutrient deficiency is widespread as part of malnutrition; it also occurs more often in parallel with an oversupply of calories. The supply of sufficient quantities of healthy, high-quality and sustainably produced food is therefore one of the central challenges of the 21st century. The English-language Master's degree programme in "Global Food, Nutrition and Health" aims to provide the skills required to deal with these global challenges. The focus is on teaching health science skills. In addition to relevant theoretical knowledge in the fields of natural sciences, economics, ethics, law and sociology, the focus is on interdisciplinary competences.

Entry Requirements

Please note, that we are currently finalising the admission requirements. First enrolments will take place in the summer semester 2021. The study programme is addressed to applicants with a Bachelor's degree in the subject field of nutritional or health sciences. There will be an aptitude test.
