About

Multidisciplinarity at its best The Master's programme combines natural and engineering science with economic science for using this linked knowledge in project management. Materials Science as an interdisciplinary field of research often has its limits in economic aspects. If the knowledge is expanded in this area, projects can be guided and focused in a constructive way right from the beginning. Therefore, the Master's programme offers deep knowledge, proficiencies and experience in materials science with a focus on functional materials. These are completed by thorough knowledge in economics. The programme is specially designed with two-thirds of the programme in materials science and one-third of the programme in economic science content for further steps in research and development project management. The Master's programme addresses all engineers and natural scientists with experience and interest in economic topics as well as all economists with a broad fundamental natural and engineering knowledge. German language courses are offered at various levels as an optional part of the programme.

Entry Requirements

Qualified (minimum) three-year Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Business Administration or in related sciences as well as Bachelor of Science in Materials Science or Economics with fundamental knowledge in the complementary field Applicants must demonstrate an academic background in economics.
