The Master's degree programme is a postgraduate course for students seeking further specialisation of their own choice. Students at the University of Regensburg can explore the following areas of research:
Arithmetic Geometry
Global Analysis and Geometry
Applied Analysis
Students have the possibility to choose a minor subject and general courses.
At the end of the programme, students write their own academic paper - the Master's thesis. The Master's degree course at the University of Regensburg introduces students to current research issues in mathematics. It also provides a strong foundation to pursue a doctoral degree at an international level.
Thanks to the SFB "Higher Invariants" and the Graduate Schools "Curvature, Cycles and Cohomology" and "Interfaces, Complex Structures, and Singular Limits" the mathematical faculty is highly visible internationally.
