    The Optometry Science is a Bachelor degree offered by Al Ahliyya Amman University across its Al-Salt and Main Site campuses in Amman, Jordan. The program is delivered on campus as a Full Time course in English and requires approximately 4 years to complete. Students study across its Al-Salt and Main Site campuses while gaining the knowledge and practical experience expected for this area of study. The tuition fee is USD 135 / per hour, and the next intake is available from October 5, 2026.

    The Optometry Program is unique in that it is the first and only program at the level of private universities in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the department was created as one of the departments of the College of Allied Medical Sciences in 2015. The department awards a bachelor’s degree in optometry upon the successful completion of (132) credit hours distributed over four academic years. The Department of Optometry was established to provide the opportunity for its graduates to work in optical centers, ophthalmology centers and optometry centers, in addition to eye clinics in hospitals.
