Overview UPM industrial design graduates draw on a range of core courses, inter-mix with creativity and technical know-how, which lead to the production of innovative design solutions. The programme encourages innovative thinking and development of practices which extend the discipline and application of new technologies to fulfill the needs of human resource by the industrial sectors.Graduates of the program in Industrial Design at the University Putra Malaysia will have a wide opportunity to be employed as an industrial designer or an executive in various industrial and manufacturing sectors and in any relevant posts in the government sector. The Industrial Design Department To date, the program has produced about 370 professional graduates who, particularly, meet the needs of national talent in the field of Industrial Design and, generally, as an important manpower that supports manufacturing industry.Graduates from this department are mostly employed in public and private sectors with various specializations, such as skilled manpower especially on concept design, technical and computer aided design (CAD) work, design advisers, design management and consultancy, design research and development, business and entrepreneurship, education and more.
